Antony has 40 years' experience of teaching religious education in a variety of secondary school classrooms - state, independent and faith sectors - and of higher education both north of the border (University of West Scotland, Paisley) and south (Bishop Grosseteste University, Lincoln). He has been awarded a PhD Education Studies at the University of Glasgow with a thesis about dialogic skills in RE; and has attained Masters's degrees in curricular studies, theology and pedagogy from the Universities of Strathclyde, Aberdeen (commendation) and Oxford (distinction) respectively. Antony has authored 80+ publications in peer reviewed academic journals, editorially reviewed professional journals and the education press.
